    Dear All,

    Please be informed  that for handling  Change of Ownership scenarios including Owner of the SIM is not alive & Owner of the SIM is abroad, business center will use SKIP Party A on BVS device, however Party-B BVS shall be mandatory.

    The physical presence of the Transferor for Change of Ownership shall be exempted under circumstances given below provided other additional requirements/verifications, as mentioned against each, should be  fulfilled:

    Owner of the SIM is not alive
    (i)            Only relatives can avail the facility.
    (ii)           Death certificate shall be obtained/scanned and retained for life
    (iii)         Possession of SIM must be ensured.
    (iv)            Check last recharge/last call history.
    2
    Owner of the SIM is abroad
    (i)            NOC from owner/transferor on company’s Performa shall be obtained and retained for life. 
    (ii)           Copy of CNIC and passport including proof of living abroad shall be obtained/scanned and retained for life

    Furthermore Change of Ownership of numbers currently disowned (UAO668) in system will be processed manually (manual take over) through Business Center Manager and Team leader login only. Below points need to be considered while processing UAO668 to new ownership through business centers:
    ·        Physical presence of SIM
    ·        BVS verification to made after manual Change of Ownership Order (Reverification TAB)
    ·        Create restoration from UAO668 activity in Efront under OMT Ã  Not Available in Siebel – Prepaid (mentioned details in notes of activity )

    Important Points:

    ·        For all other scenarios Business centers should not use SKIP option without written approval from shared POCs’
    ·        For “Owner of the SIM is abroad” scenario signed NOC including (Name, Father Name & CNIC) of current & new user should be mentioned
    ·        For Change of Ownership for scenarios including Owner of the SIM is not alive & Owner of the SIM is abroad, mentioned documents need to be uploaded in system
    ·        Restoration activity in Efront OMT will only be processed by backend if BVS of Party B is captured through Reverification option
    ·        Above process is applicable for handling at Business centers only
